The Spanish preposition "hasta" has a number of meanings:

No llegarán "hasta" las dos de la madrugada.
They will not arrive "until" two o'clock in the morning.

Contar "hasta" diez.
Count "up to" ten.

Fueron "hasta" las montañas.
The went "as far as" the mountains.
